Walsall boss Dean Smith has today spoken about his delight at signing a new deal with the Saddlers.
Smith is happy that now his contract is finalised he can look to continuing the progress the club has made whilst developing himself as a manager.
Smith has spent nearly five years with the club – a record only bettered by Arsene Wenger, Paul Tisdale and Karl Robinson.
“I`m happy with how we are developing as a club,” he added. “Now I`m looking forward to continuing the progress we`ve made.”
“I`ve enjoyed my time in charge so far and I`m still learning everyday.
“I feel like I`m getting better as a manager and I just want to keep developing.”
