The Saddlers are back on home soil tonight after three games on the road yielding five points.

It will be a game that is inevitably very tough to gain any points against promotion chasing Sheffield United.

Midfielder Adam Chambers, although his injury has improved, will still not be recovered in time as his heel injury Continues to plague him.

Anton Peterlin will more than likely be set to keep his place as he has for the latter two games in the centre of midfield.

Apart from Chambers, Walsall have a clean bill of health across the board, and it will be our first game since November 2011 without Richard O’Kelly as he has departed for a new challenge with Hereford.

Sheffield United however are in the middle of somewhat of an injury crisis.

Lecsinel Jean-Francois was stretchered off in The Blades’ defeat to Oldham on Saturday, and joins the list of defensive injuries along with Marcus Williams, while Neil Collins missed Saturday’s clash with ‘personal problems’.

Given the addition of Matt Lowton and Harry McGuire who were both sent off at the weekend, and will both be serving bans tonight, United are seriously lacking in the defensive department, something which the Saddlers will be hoping to exploit.

Seamus Conneely could make a debut for the Blades tonight.

Come on Walsall!
