Matt Gadsby Memorial Fund

In an emotional and poignant presentation after Saturday’s game at the Marston Stadium, Chairman Kevin Downes presented the proceeds from the Matt Gadsby Memorial Fund to Matt’s widow Sarah, daughter Amelia and Matt’s father Andy. With all the bucket collections, organised events and fund raising football matches the total was over £60000, and Sarah, with Amelia in her arms, gave her heartfelt thanks to everyone who had contributed or were involved with the fund.

From the supporters of Hinckley United a big thank you to everyone at Walsall who did even the smallest thing whether it be a message of sympathy or a contribution to the fund, every little bit added up to a big helping hand for Sarah and Millie. Thank you.
