McDonald stays

On-loan defender Clayton McDonald has extended his loan spell with the Saddlers for another month.

The 20-year-old became a priority after the sudden retirement of the former Welsh international Stephen Roberts.

McDonald is said to be delighted at staying in the Midlands for a further month, but most Walsall fans, including myself, would like to see him at the Banks’s for a lot longer!
