The Walsall Football Supporters Trust are delighted to announce that they will be assisting Dean Holden and his family when they hold a bucket collection at the forth coming Notts County game on Saturday 16th February 2013.

You may be aware that Dean and Danielle sadly lost their daughter Cici Milly to Meningococal Sepsis in the Summer aged just 17 months old.

The Trust are following three of Deans former clubs, Oldham, Shrewsbury and Chesterfield in raising funds for this more than worthy cause.

Our visitors Notts County have been contacted and will publicise the collection with their fans on their website and in the match day programme to let them know what we are doing. Hopefully they will help us raise a lot of money for the Meningitis Trust.

In addition to the collection the trust will also be auctioning a number of items which they are currently collecting.

The trust have been in touch with the Football Association and we are delighted to announce that they have agreed to donate an England shirt signed by all of the England U21 team who will be in attendance at The Banks’s Stadium when England take on Sweden on Tuesday 5th February, a truly unique piece of football memorabilia.

On behalf of Dean and his family, the trust would like to thank the FA for their generosity.

The will also be auctioning Deans yellow third kit which has kindly been donated by Walsall Football Club. We would like to thank the club for this generous donation which we’re sure will help raise a good sum of money.

In addition, the trust also have an Holland v Northern Ireland programme signed by Saddlers Striker Will Grigg. This match was of course his first Full International Cap match.

Finally the trust still have a number of ‘Dean Holden Nutter’ t-shirts sizes small to 3xl for sale priced at just £12 each, with any profit made going into the collection.

We urge all Vital Walsall viewers to give generously at the Notts County game and show our support to Dean and his wife Danielle.
