|

Walsall midfielder Josh Ginnelly has this morning praised Walsall supporters and boss Dean Keates for the sides good start to the season.

Ginnelly who got his first goal for the club in Tuesday nights victory over Tranmere feels that the fans are really helping the side at the moment.

Speaking to Express and Star Ginnelly said

“We want to keep raising our standards and the support we have received has been fantastic.”

“It’s great to see the fans backing us all the way.”

Ginnelly also praised boss Dean Keates and said that the gaffer allowing the players to express themselves is paying dividends on the pitch.

“It’s the way the gaffer is – he is so open, he wants us to go out there and express ourselves,”

“There are no restrictions in the final third. It’s literally freedom.”

The twenty-one year old joined the Saddlers on a free transfer this summer and looks set to feature heavily again tomorrow as we entertain Gillingham.
