A goal from Jermaine Easter saw the Saddlers crash to a narrow defeat at Stadium:MK.

Although, it could have all been different if the attack had had their striking boots on.

You could even say it was the kind of finishing that Jonny Wilkinson would be proud of.

Easter connected with a low cross on 32 minutes to condemn the Saddlers to their third defeat on the road this season.

Darren Byfield could have earned us a point not long after, as a through ball from Deeney saw Byfield one-on-one with Dons keeper Willy Gerret, only for the 33-year-old to blast over from 10-yards.

Rene Gilmartin was kept busy, as the Dons tried to kill a resiliant Saddlers defence, who were not feeling the absence of loanee Clayton McDonald, who was forced off at the start of the second half.

All in all, the result highlighted our weaknesses, which is still being able to finish infront of goal; or cause for concern!
