New Manager this week

So he hopes to appoint a new manager by the weekend then, and a cloud of mystery surrounds the club.

Jeff has spoken in the past about not approaching people himself, his view is that if they want the job they must apply for it, far enough no prima donnas needed at the Banks’s and of course one ego is enough for any club. However according to the local paper this could rule out fans favorite (but by no means everyones) David Kelly.

Another possible nail in the coffin of that particular pipe dream is how we got our fingers burnt with a certain Paul Merson and this has clearly put JB off appointing anyone just on playing reputation.

To whittle the field down even further Jeff doesn’t do compensation so we can rule out any manager currently with another club. The other side of this is Jeff feels if a manager would apply for a job whilst still working for some one else it shows no loyalty….ask Colin Lee about those situations!

So we have a short list of six, and JB has a history of suprises Ray Graydon, Richard Money to name two successful unknow names…will JB follow the same formula we will have to wait and see!!!
