Cook has been given the number nine shirt ahead of the new season and will be seen as Dean Keates main striker with the boss comparing him to past Saddlers legend Andy Rammell.

Speaking to Express And Star Walsall boss Dean Keates said

“He reminds me a lot of Andy Rammell. He will help us get up the field and the ball will stick.”

“He wins headers – in both boxes – and likes to put himself about. Defenders will know that he’s there. Put balls in the box and he’ll score goals.”

Cook has scored over one hundred and twenty-eight goals in his last seven seasons and will be the much needed fire power we lack up front.

Cant wait to see him wear the famous red shirt.
