Yesterday saw the deadline for Walsall players offered new contracts to accept and stay on at the club.
Three players missed the deadline and will now be released, Manny Smith, Darryl Westlake and Lee Beevers all failed to respond accordingly to contract offers which were made on May 19th.
Emanuele Ledesma who is strongly linked with a number of championship sides is reportedly not subject to the same deadline.
Elsewhere Adam Chambers has invoked a second season option in his contract and has signed another one year deal.
