28-year-old Ben Purkiss has put pen to paper on a one year deal with the Saddlers following a successful trial period at the club.
Coming, no doubt from a reccomendation from assistant manager Richard O’Kelly, who managed Purkiss during his time in charge of Hereford last season.
Purkiss has also represented Oxford and York.
