Walsal head coach Sean O’Driscoll has today said it takes different qualities to build a successful side, some of which the media and supporters don’t see.

Despite winning six out of his elev games in charge since his appointment in December, many have questioned O’Driscoll following his decisions to leave Milan Lalkovic out the side in favour of Andy Taylor and Rico Henry down the left – many see Rico Henry’s best position at left back but O’Driscoll continues to use him as a winger but he believes it takes a combination of qualities to build a successful side.

He said: “You have to look at the things that make a team a team. They`re things that supporters and media don`t see, but they`re the key things.

“The results that you see are a culmination of it. People say football is a simple game but it`s not. It`s a game that involves so many individuals with different strengths.”
