Have to be honest haven’t got a clue who he is – but he promises energy and a willingness to chip in with the goals. O’Keefe impressed Mark Hughes enough to earn himself a one-year contact with the Premiership side. But after Hughes’ departure chances in the reserve side were at a premium and he spent the end of the season on trial at Derby County. Not sure if he was drafted in by Hutchings himself but it was Nigel Clough who showed him the door obviously not too impressed.

O’Keefe can play in central midfield and penned a one-year deal with the Saddles. Strange fact is that Josh’s father was also a professional footballer playing in goal and in his early days he was registered with Walsall but failed to make an appearance.
