Oxford United Right Back Becomes A Saddler

|

Walsall have today confirmed the signing of Oxford United right back Cameron Norman on a two and half year deal for an undisclosed fee.

Norman started his career with Norwich City and went on to become a popular figure and helped the youth side to win the FA Youth Cup in 2013.

After several loan deals at Woking, Needham Market and Concord Rangers, Norman moved permanently to Kings Lynn.

Norman made fifty one appearances for Kings Lynn scoring seven goals. His impressive displays saw a host of league clubs wanting to sign him.

Oxford United won the race to sign him and he has gone onto play twelve games for the League 1 side.

He played in Oxford’s League Cup game against Coventry City before playing his first league game against Accrington Stanley.

At just twenty-three and having just played two league games Norman is not the experienced defender we need but with Laird signing it’s hoped he can help Norman progress.
