Walsall FC have today made their second signing of the summer with attacking midfielder Erhun Oztumer joining the Saddlers on a two year deal.
Oztumer who is described as the Turkish Messi, rejected a new deal with Peterborough to sign for the Saddlers and would envisage he is the like for like replacement for Romaine Sawyers.
Oztumer will formally be announced as a Walsall player on July 1 once his contract at London Road expires.
Oztumer started his career as a youngster at Charlton before joining Turkish side Sivasspor, he went onto join Anadolu Uskudar in 2011 and scored five goals in thirty four games before moving back to England with Dulwich Hamlet.
It was at Dulwich where Erhun started making a name for himself – scoring forty nine goals in seventy eight games.
His record caught the eye of Peterborough and Posh signed him for an undisclosed fee.
He scored seven goals in forty six appearances for Peterborough.
