We travel to Peterborough tomorrow after a morale boosting victory over Bolton last weekend hoping to kick start our indifferent start to the season.

Vital Quotes:

Will appear here later…

Peterborough Team News:

Andrew Hughes back in contention for Peterborough after one-match ban

Andrew Hughes is back in contention following his one-match suspension which saw him miss the 1-0 defeat to Sheffield United after he was sent off against Port Vale.

Ryan Tafazolli could also be part of the squad after impressing in a few under-23 games as he recovered from an injury he picked up on the opening day of the season against Rochdale.

Brad Inman and Lee Angol are both sidelined due to ankle injuries and Jermaine Anderson is out for the season after he ruptured his ACL.

Player to watch: Gwion Edwards

Edwards signed for Posh from Crawley during the summer and has already scored four goals in his first six games.

Edwards is a former Wales Under 21 international whom started his career at Swansea.

Walsall Team News:

Walsall defender Joe Edwards starts his three-game suspension after being sent off in their win over Bolton.

Osbourne and Cuvelier have both trained with the team this week and will be hoping to feature for the first time in a month.

Player to watch: Erhun Oztumer

All eyes will be on the Turkish Messi.

Oz left Peterborough this summer after rejecting their reduced contract and signed for the Saddlers. In the six games he has played he has already become a fans favourite. Our little magician will be hoping to get one over his former club tomorrow.

Match Facts & Stats

The Saddlers have not lost to Peterborough in their past six matches – winning two and drawing four.

In the past six matches the Saddlers have also conceded just one goal.

The last time both sides met at the ABAX, ended in a 1-1 draw with a wonder strike from Romaine Sawyers.

Ref Watch:

Mr B. Toner (Lancashire) has officiated four games so far this season – dishing out nine yellow cards.

Toner has officiated two Walsall games – the Saddlers winning one and losing one.

His most recent game involving the Saddlers came in April where we lost 1-0 at Oldham – all three bookings in that game were shown to Oldham players.

Match Prediction:

1-1. Our record is good against Peterborough, the team will be buoyed following last weeks result and I think Oz will play a blinder.
