Earlier today reports in The Mirror, suggested Walsall were set to sign Plymouth winger Jake Jervis in a £100,000 deal, however the winger has decided to join Luton Town for £125,000.
Jervis who is versatile and can play either as a winger or a striker has scored twenty six goals in one hundred and four appearances for the Pilgrims since joining from Ross County in 2015 however the stumbling block was Plymouth need to find a replacement before allowing him to leave.
Jake Jervis is from Wolverhampton and has played for thirteen clubs in eight years – eight of them were on loan.
With us potentially missing out on the signing of Jervis it’s clear to see that we need reinforcements in the final third of the pitch.
