Walsall travel to Oldham early tomorrow as they take on Oldham Athletic.

Saddlers are teetering on the edge of leaving the relegation zone as they lay on the same amount of points as Dagenham & Redbridge and Bristol Rovers. A win and nothing else in essential as the season’s end edges nearer.

Oldham have won 1, lost 1 and drawn 3 of their last five with Walsall having 1 win, 2 draws and 2 losses in that time. The hosts lay in 16th place.

Saddlers have no new injury worries ahead of the clash, as Oumare Tounkara, Reuben Hazell and Chris Taylor set to miss out for the Lactics.

Wasall have a busy easter weekend and visit Boundary Park on the back of Saturday’s lacklustre draw against Sheffield Wednesday. Smith said of the game to the official site: ‘It’s not going to be easy for us, but I believe that we have the quality to go there and beat them. Things can still change; it’s all about the results on the day and the picture could look a whole lot different again after Monday’s matches.’

Score: Walsall are well capable of earning three points but who knows? I’m going for Walsall 2-1 Oldham. It’s too nervous too call!

Up The Saddlers!
