Walsall are lifted today ahead of the visit of Rochdale as attacking midfielder Emmanuele Ledesma has joined on loan. He could even make his debut today after signing yesterday.

The 22 year old departed Argentine team Genoa after six years last month, having spent time at Queens Park Rangers in 2008.

Walsall have no new injury worries and, should Ledesma get league clearance to play, the midfield is likely to be Gray, Ledesma, Richards, Nicholls.

Rochdale lie in a more than comfortable 10th position and have been unbeaten in February with two draws and two wins.

You might remember the Saddlers at the Spotlands in September lost 3-2 as Brain dropped two clangers in goal to gift the homeside the win. Macken and Byfield came to his rescue to close the deficit and some of his blushes.

Today Walsall can transport themselves out of the relegation zone as Plymouth Argyle were docked 10 points and sent bottom after they annonuced intention to go into administration.

Good Luck Saddlers!
