Although it doesn’t really concern us since it would take a strange set of results for us to benifit from Rotherham been deducted 10 points. However some of the other clubs involved could be effected.

Speaking to the club’s official website the Millers chairman Denis Coleman said:-

‘The process of preparing the CVA has taken longer than expected and therefore we have had to postpone the meeting until Tuesday.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for all their efforts to date and hope that together we can ensure that the club is still playing league football next season.’

Should the CVA be agreed Rotherham plan to appeal against the ten point deduction which will be imposed by the football league. If the CVA proposal is not accepted then the club will go into liquidation and therefore out of existance.

However if Rotherham are relegated on saturday they will be doing there best to get the points deduction applied to this season. However if they stay up they will want it applied to next season. Hence they will appeal against the decision. Either way it is using the system to there own benifit, no matter how unpaletable, if the truth is known we would all hope our chairman would be as sneaky to preserve our club.
