Following Saturday’s victory over Oxford the Saddlers fans were in buoyant spirits after our first win in three games which kept us firmly in the League 1 play off spots.
Goals from Morgan Ferrier and Zeli Ismail should have have the Saddlers a comfortable cushion however in true Walsall style we conceded a late goal and found ourselves up against it in injury time – however Oxford were very poor and would have been daylight robbery had they got anything from the game.
