Following Saturday’s 4-1 defeat to Doncaster the Saddlers fans remained upbeat via our Twitter page and began directing their frustrations towards referee Anthony Coggins.
Coggins had an absolute mare of a game in which he failed to control the game, missed out on crucial incidents and seemed to book Walsall players like it was going out of fashion.
Here are a few tweets from Saddlers fans following that defeat (note we struggled to find enough tweets without any swear words!)

@VitalWalsall Anthony Coggin was todays referee, absolutely absymal. More like Anthony Noggin.

Yep, we couldn't challenge in the end cos the ref kept blowing his whistle, normally incorrectly

Deserved to lose that simple balls through made our defence look stupid! But 4-1 was in the refs hands he was dreadful worse officiating I've ever seen at walsall! That's including trevor Kettle!
Oh well we had to lose sometime!
Up the Saddlers!— Lord Chris Steele 🇬🇧🏴☠️🇺🇸 (@ChrisSteele5191) September 15, 2018

A few have questioned the substitute of Connor Ronan whilst asking why some players started when not clearly fit.
I said it as soon as Osbourne went off, missed his experience & Ronan is a young a lad wasnt the best for him against a dirty side like Doncaster

Fair play to @drfc_official deserved it from start to finish. Why Keates is playing @osbourne_isaiah and @andy9cook when there clearly not fit is a joke. @VitalWalsall @VitalWalsall @WalsallWebFans #WALDON

James feels it was just an all round bad day and that the Saddlers will respond.
@VitalWalsall pretty confident will bounce back was just one of those games

Danny discussed that spat between Leahy and Ferrier

Daz rightfully questions the process before a home game with only one turnstile open just as the game kicks off.

It was good to see our young Saddler was allowed into the Banks’s Stadium with his flag after being refused at Barnsley for not having a fire certificate!
No issues with the flag this week. Proper football club @WFCOfficial pic.twitter.com/6O2cuqffb2
