After a fantastic weekend at Torquay many of the 1000 plus fans will be heading back to the Midlands tonight or tomorrow morning in time for the 3pm kick off against Graham Turners Hereford.

Due to the closeness of the two games news is a bit on the short side. But some sorces say that Hector Sam, Kevin Cooper and Kevin Harper will face late tests after missing saturdays win. The defence just didn’t look solid with a Gerrard Westwood partnership, so will DD start with Manny Smith, as DD says Picken needs another reserve game before he is ready, or does he just throw him in at the deep end. The absence of Dann and Roper is proving a bit of a problem.

Up front Butler and Trevor Benjamin look likely to get the nod, although Troy Denny will be on the bench if Hector Sam fails to make it.

Whilst a lot of press reports are saying it will be an unchanged team, I think DD will freshen it up.

As for Hereford, according to some reports they gave Swindon a hard game on Saturday and were unfortunate not to come away with all three points, although both teams cancelled each other out in the first half. Having had just lost four in a row Hereford reverted to a 4-4-2 against Swindon and it worked well for them. It could be more of the same for Hereford.

Goals seem to be the recent problem so they seem certain to score one or two at Bescot then, Herefords last goals came at Hartlepool who struggled to get all three points against the Bulls, eventually running out 3-2 winners.

Hereford 0 – 0 Swindon
Hereford 0 – 0 MK Dons
Accrington 2 – 0 Hereford
Darlington 1 – 0 Hereford
Hereford 0 – 1 Grimsby
Hartlepool 3 – 2 Hereford

The fact Herefords last win was nine games ago when they shocked Lincoln 4-1 at sincil bank, gives us hope of getting the three points, the problem is Easter is famous for throwing up shock results, just ask any MK Don fan.

As for predictions it is the wrong time of year to have any certainity, however we have a good record against Hereford so a draw is possible but i will go for a home win.
Now if only Accrington can pull off a draw at Hartlepool and we could go into the last four games in top spot!!!
If we could win and Shrewsbury can beat MK Dons at home….promotion at Notts County next saturday, oh I wish it was so easy there will be more twists and turns before the fat lady sings, nothing is certain yet, lose the next five and we have blown it.
