Walsall take on Swindon Town today at the Banks’s stadium, which also sees Swifty host a funday ahead of the clash.

Swifty will be handing out prizes and giveaways, alongside funfair rides, stalls and Cadbury’s handing out chocolate goodies. Tickets are £10 which includes entry to the family stand for one adult and two juniors.

Swindon will be looking to build upon their win last week at Southampton, their only victory on the back of three draws and three losses. Walsall however, will look to spare their blushes with 3 consecutive defeats behind them in league one.

Saddlers will be again without Richard Taundry (knee) and Steve Jones (ankle) in midfield. Despite his clangers last week at Rochdale, Brain is set to keep his place in goal after a vote of confidence by manager Chris Hutchings and skipper Darren Byfield in midweek. Alex Nicholls finally goes back into contention up front after his 3 match ban.

Swindon are boosted by the return of their keeper David Lucas, but key striker Charlie Austin and Alan O’ Brien both miss out.

Despite recent Saddler frustrations, Hutchings remain confident that his lads can turn their fortunes around. He told the Birmingham Mail: ‘Sometimes you don’t get what you deserve in football, so you’ve got to keep knocking on the door and sooner or later you will burst through. We’ve got to make sure it goes in our favour, so when chances come we’ve got to take them. The lads are confident and there’s no reason we can’t turn it around.

Saddlers will likely be unchanged from last week with: Brain, McGivern, McDonald, Smith, Lescott, Gray, Richards, Marshall, Davis, Byfield, Macken. The likeliest change of the team would be Lancashire to come in for McDonald.

Vital prediction: 3-1 Walsall victory.
