Walsall midfielder Zeli Ismail has today been named in The Football League newspaper League 1 team of the weekend following his performance during our 2-1 victory over Oxford.
Ismail was recalled back into the starting eleven and was impressive also grabbing our second goal of the game.
Ismail’s goal at the weekend was his fourth Saddlers goal this season following goals against Scunthorpe, Rochdale and Tranmere.
