The Saddlers continued our superb start to the season with a hard fought draw against Barnsley.

An eighty-eighth minute strike from substitute Andy Cook was enough to grab a point as we remain undefeated in League 1.

The home side enjoyed an extended spell of pressure after the restart and it paid dividends in the 55th minute.

Victor Adeboyejo scored a somewhat fluke of a goal just before the hour mark and the Saddlers rode their luck until the equaliser however could have been in front if Morgan Ferrier, Josh Gordon or Jack Fiztwater had taken their chances beforehand.

Any Saddlers fan would have taken a point before the game and we would have lost this type of game last season had it not been for Dean Keates doing his homework and the Saddlers being so well organised throughout the afternoon.

The Saddlers now face Doncaster Rovers at home next Saturday hoping to make it eight games unbeaten.
