Saddlers on Tour- Grimsby pub guide

As I have friends in Grimsby I tend to end up in the ‘home pub’ The Imperial, but Grimsby does have a pub which can welcome the visiting saddlers on tour. The Leaking Boot Hotel, people tend to gather in the back bar and the Juke box has been an attraction for those fans of 70’s 80’s music.

The Boot is quite basic and if the crowds decend the beer may well come in plastic beakers, but if the sun shines you can catch the seaside rays in the beer garden.

The other two bars in the Leaking Boot tend to be more for the home supporters. As does The Imperial which can have doormen on patrol t get past.

The Rutland Arms, (turn let at Ramsdens store then left again), does not allow children but does allow away fans. As does the Blundell Park Hotel. The town centre is the usual mixture of pubs although there are a couple of Camara recomended establishments.

As for food it has to be a fish and chip shop…possible the best thing about the day out, although there is a MacDonalds right outside the ground if you must.
