Walsall have today completed the season loan signing of Bristol City left back Cameron Pring.
Pring who is described as an attacking full back with power and pace joined Bristol City as a youngster in January 2016 from Cheltenham Town.
His chances at City have been limited and was loaned to Aldershot, Merthyr Tydfil, Hereford, Guernsey, Newport and more recently Cheltenham Town.
He played eight times for Cheltenham last season after joining them in January but an injury forced him to limited appearances. The first half of the campaign he played for Newport County however he was limited to just twelve appearances due to the form of Dan Butler.
He scored his first professional goal for Newport against Colchester in November.
Pring becomes Darrell Clarke’s seventh signing of the summer following the arrivals of Stuart Sinclair, James Clarke, James Hardy, Elijah Adebayo, Shay Facey and Jack Kiersey.
Everyone at Vital Walsall welcomes Cameron to the club….it’s not very often your two full backs have the first name Cameron!
