Walsall have officially announced the signing of 34 year old wide man Paul Hall. Paul is of course no stranger to the saddlers been part of the play off winning team as we went into the Championship, a repeat would be nice.

Paul has been at Chesterfield for the last two seasons hiting an impressive 15 goals in his first season there. Last season ended in relegation for Chesterfield, and hence Paul has decided to continue his league one career.

Manager Dickie Dosh, has called him another piece of the jigsaw as we build for next season. DD is hoping that his experience will help bring on the crop of young players next season. He will of course also be hoping Paul will not only be able to supply decent service to the front men but also give us a goal threat from out wide.

The sign I expect will be met with a mixed reaction since some Saddlers would have loved last season loanee Kevin Harper to have joined this now seems unlikely, whilst others would have expected Ronaldo.

The fans of Mark Wright will be wondering if Paul Hall is a better player, only time will tell, but what he does bring is consistancy.
