Sawyers Named In Football League Team Of The Week

Walsall playmaker Romaine Sawyers has been named in the Football League’s team of the week following his brilliant performance –
in our 3-1 victory over Preston North End at the weekend.

Sawyers returned from international duty with St Kitts and Nevis to score his first goal in eight months and his performance was greeted by a standing ovation from the Saddlers fans when he was substituted on eighty minutes.
