Sinclair Feels Players Have Let Fans Down

|

Stuart Sinclair becomes the latest player to admit that the players have let down the supporters.

Last week Zak Jules said he felt the players should be giving more back to the fans, this week Sinclair also admits that the second half performance at Leyton Orient wasn’t acceptable to the 852 fans that made the long trip down to the capital.

Sinclair has called on his team mates to give something back to the passionate fans that have been superb all season following the team which currently sit in 19th position in League 2.

Speaking to Express and Star, Sinclair said

“It’s (the support) been fantastic home and away, the passion they show is unbelievable – and that’s why it’s frustrating because in the first half we’re pushing forward, but the second half is so disappointing and it was shown in us and in the fans.”

“That’s why this club can move forwards because it has such passion and we need to make sure we produce that on the pitch.”

“Of course you do (feel like you’ve let fans down).”

The Saddlers face one of League 2’s most inform sides this weekend as we return back to The Banks’s Stadium to face Cheltenham Town.

The Saddlers have won just one home game all season and defeat on Saturday would see the Saddlers fall even further away from the leading group.

Talk is cheap, it’s up to the players and staff to give back to our outstanding supporters!
