Walsall boss Dean Smith said he was happy with the performance in our
0-0 draw with Bradford but was disappointed not to take all three.

In a game that had very few chances, Walsall won the battle of possession with a staggering 62% although this is a familiar story where we get into the final third and struggle to create real goalscoring chances.

Smith said ‘We are disappointed we didn’t get all three points, but I thought we controlled the game.

‘Credit to their players because they defended with 11 men behind the ball and, to be fair, were well organised.

‘It’s very difficult to break down a team, as well organised as that, but the positive thing for me is the way we moved the ball really well, and it’s a clean sheet.’

Walsall will be hoping to make their chances count when we welcome Yeovil to the Banks’s Stadium tomorrow (kick off 7.45pm)
