Walsall boss Dean Smith has today spoken about the interest shown in him by Chanpionship side Rotherham and conceded the decision was out of his hands but has a job to do here.
Speaking to Walsall Advertiser, Smith said ‘It’s been rejected and for me that makes it a little bit easier because I don’t have to think about things.’
‘The club has said no so that lets me get on with my job.’
“I’ve always said that I’m in a job here and that I will do it to the best of my ability unless I am told otherwise to go and speak to somebody. Until that happens I will keep going on with the job.”
“I think when a club is doing well, the management, staff and players always come under the radar of clubs above.”
