Walsall boss Dean Smith has today refused to rule out a move for former Saddlers players, Febian Brandy and Flo Cuvelier.

Both Brandy and Cuvelier have been told by Sheffield United boss Nigel Clough that they can move out on loan in order to get first team football.

Smith said “They are obviously two players I like because I have had them here before,”. “Whether we as a team have moved away from them, I`m not sure, it`s something I will have a think about.’

Smith added “I`m sure there will be one or two takers for them,” he said. “I would have to weigh up for ourselves whether it is right for the club.”

Brandy left Walsall in the summer, in the worst possible fashion having informed supporters to ‘watch Sky Sports News’ to see where he would be plying his trade this season. Brandy was on the receiving end of abuse when the two sides met a few weeks ago and although Brandy would offer something to the side I think too much has happened for him to wear the red shirt once more.

Cuvelier on the other hand would be welcome back but I dont see how he would fit into our midfield now.
