Sonko is a Saddler!

Walsall have signed Gambian international winger Edrissa ‘Eddy’ Sonko, after a successful trial spell with the club.
The 27-year-old former Roda midfielder has penned a one-year contract with the Saddlers.
He has appeared in Walsall’s recent pre-season matches against Worcester and Stafford Rangers, impressing Saddlers boss DD enough to earn himself a place in the squad.
Sonko has played 14 times for his country, notching seven goals in the process.
He will be seen as a replacement for the suspended Ishmel Demontagnac for the first two games of the season.
