The Saddlers suffered another defeat at the hands of Scunthorpe as we continue to slip closer to the relegation spots – only one point separates the Saddlers from the bottom four and with three games to go it’s time to stand up and be counted!
A spirited Saddlers display with no cutting edge was undone as Kieron Morris lost his man with twelve minutes remaining and Ryan Yates headed the winner which sees Scunthorpe hold onto their play off spot for another week.
The Saddlers now face fellow relegation rivals Northampton Town at the Banks’s Stadium next Saturday in which a victory for the Saddlers will see Northampton all but relegated.
