Once again, Rob Harvey has set himself a challenge to raise money for Acorns Children’s Hospice Trust. The challenge starts today, and spans until tomorrow. So what is he doing?

It’s been labelled the ‘Walsall to Walsall via Route 66 (miles)’. Rob, along with Steve Porter, Dave Ball, and Lewis Crawford, are starting at Acorns Walsall, and are walking to two other Acorns sites at Selly Oak and Worcester, before returning to Acorns Walsall. This route is roughly 66 miles. To make things more challenging, the team will be doing the challenge in under 30 hours.

Rob is no stranger to raising money. He has done many challenges in the past, however this one is tough by his high standards. On their Just Giving page, Rob says ‘It’s going to be demanding and it’s going to be a bit of a grueller for us all, but with your donations it makes us even more determined to see it through to completion’

To donate, head to their Just Giving page, which can be found here – https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/100km30h.

They have already raised a substantial figure, which is currently in excess of £1800, which is a fantastic amount that will be greatly received by Acorns.

Make sure to donate, and send supportive messages to the team as they embark at 5.30pm.
