The Saddlers are on the lookout for our new manager after the sacking of Dean Keates following yesterdays 3-1 defeat against Oxford United.
Given today’s reports it seems the Saddlers aren’t hanging around in trying to find Deano’s replacement.
Following rumours that Steve Evans has rejected the chance to become our new boss, many of our supporters are happy that he has turned us down.
Here are a few early reactions from a Saddlers fans….
Jesus wept. Rather have Whitney back than Steve Evans

The former Boston, Leeds, Rotherham, Mansfield and Posh manager has been out of work since being sacked at Peterborough manager in January
Evans has won promotion from League 1 and League 2 whilst manager of Rotherham United.
Will be interesting to see who else the Saddlers approach in the coming days with a swift move for a manager more likely.
