It has emerged that Premiership sides Stoke, Leicester and Burnley are keeping tabs on Walsall playmaker Romaine Sawyers.

As well as the three clubs from the Premier League, Sawyers has also attracted interest from Middlesbrough, Nottingham Forest, Huddersfield and Birmingham City.

Sawyers has played a key part in the Saddlers getting to Wembley, including scoring the winner against Sheffield United in Round Three and winning the free kick which Anthony Forde put away in the Area Final against Preston.

Sawyers currently tops the assists table for Walsall with four for the season.

Sawyers joined the club on loan from West Brom but made his move permanent in the summer of 2013 – In ninety three games for the Saddlers, Sawyers has scored eleven goals.
