KB again has restated his desire to mind more fire power to push us up the table. Unfortunatly he has also restated his frustrations.

He cannot sign a player who has been cut from a clubs roster since January, any such moves would be unauthorised. This brings into question a number of players previously linked. This strictness is rumoured to be the subject of investigation to whether it constitutes a restriction in trade. For instance where would Daryl Clare stand, he has had his contract terminated by Crawley due to their financial difficulties, one view is he cannot work again until the transfer window re opens in the summer.Other parties have viewed this situation differently clarification is required so it would seem.

The other side of the coin is Walsall have six loan players and only five can appear in the matchday squad. Bring two more in and thats three players that won’t get a game but we will pay there wages. Also how does this effect morale, KB said
‘None of the lads here want to be frozen out of the picture or else there’s no point their been here ‘
He went on to say
Team spirit is picking up with one or two decent results and I don’t want to wreck that with the wrong guy comming in – which is another big factor’

So it is a difficult task and you can’t rule out a loan player returning to his club or perhaps other fringe players going on loan between now and fridays deadline.

The rumour mill has gone quiet in recent days with the same names been mentioned at a number of clubs. Others such as Hull striker Fagan have regained starting spots in their teams so it’s a case of watch this space and see what happens.
