This week, Vital Walsall revealed how Darren Byfield had become a free agent after his release from Oldham.
We said surely he couldn’t return….could he?
Well, it has happened! Byfield is a Saddlers once more.
Dazzle has signed a short-term deal till Christmas in a bid to win a longer deal.
His most famous moment in his previous spell was at the Millenium Stadium, Cardiff, when he scored the winner against Reading in the 2001 Division Two play-off final.
The following season, he moved onto Rotherham in a £50,000 deal, and then turned out for Sunderland, Bristol City and most recently Doncaster.
He moves back to the Bescot hoping to re-create the success he had in his first spell.
Welcome back Dazzle, welcome home!
