After two away games, tommorow sees the Saddlers return to the Banks’s and home debuts for (probably) goalkeeper David Bevan and caretaker manager Dean Smith.

Walsall have had a mini revival after 2 draws, both times coming from behind to snatch a point at Tranmere Rovers and Bristol Rovers.

Huddersfield have lost loanee Graham Carey, who has returned to Celtic, but defender Tamas Kadar could keep his place after making his debut last week. The Terriers lie in an enviable 4th position, on the back of three wins.

The Saddlers wait on the fitness of midfielder Richard Taundry and goalkeeper Jimmy Walker.

David Bevan was welcomed into the side by caretaker manager Dean Smith for the Tranmere game, a chance which he is relishing. He told the official site: ‘I’m loving it and want to get the feeling every week now that I have had a taste of it.’ However, whether he will be chosen over a fit Walker remains to be seen.

Smith has been experimenting with the midfield, as 19 year old Paterson started the Tranmere game and was subbed for Gray. At Bristol Rovers’, Gray started and Paterson came on for Alex Nicholls, who started in place of Jones from the Tranmere game. Both games contained Richards and Marshall.

Alongside striker Will Grigg, also 19, who scored his first goal for the club at Bristol Rovers, Jamie Paterson has been pushing for his space in the side for a while. Of his inclusion of youngsters to the senior side, Smith added to the official site: ‘I see them doing it on the training ground and now they are starting to do it in matches. As manager I will pick teams to win football matches and Will and Jamie are certainly part of that.’

Last time out: Huddersfield ran out narrow 1-0 winners back in October, which saw the debut of goalkeeper Walker.

Score: After two draw, Saddlers should kick on and go for the win: Walsall 2-1 Huddersfield.
