I’ve seen a lot in my 28 years but watching families putting their packed lunches away as they’re being attacked by Port Vale fans in the family stand will live with me forever.

An elderly Walsall supporter was injured at the railway station. We send him our best wishes.
@WFCOfficial @VitalWalsall @TheSaddlersFans @OfficialPVFC thanks for the 6 points, Port Fale failed again and then tried to fight kids in the family area, how on earth are they where they are in the league…see you next season #UTS pic.twitter.com/KwaTKQEIAh

Three men were arrested by West Midlands Police, two were held for a short period to prevent a breach of the peace, officers said, while a third man was arrested on suspicion of causing fear of violence.
Ch Supt Ian Parnell said the violence was unacceptable and added that West Midlands Police would “do everything we can to find those responsible”.
