Tividale have been thrown out the Walsall Senior Cup and have been replaced by Walsall.
The statement reads..
In line with the Walsall Senior Cup Rules 3(c), Tividale FC have been expelled from the Walsall Senior Cup competition for breach of rule 9(f).The rule stipulates that “A player shall not play for more than one team competing in this Competition within the same season.”This infraction relates to Tividale’s participation in the quarter-final match against Walsall FC on 28/02/2023. As a result, Walsall FC have replaced Tividale in the competition.
Tividale defeated Walsall in the Quarter Finals but Walsall will now face Chasetown in the Semi-Finals.
