Sad news has reached us that former Walsall midfielder Tony Grealish has died at his home in Devon following his battle with cancer, aged 56.

Grealish joined Walsall in the summer of 1991 at the age of 34 and went on to make 36 appearances for the Saddlers that season, scoring 1 goal.

During his career Tony was capped by Republic Of Ireland 45 times and played for West Bromwich, Brighton, Manchester City and Rotherham before ending his career with the Saddlers.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
