Too much for Hutch

Chris Hutchings may be use to the glammer-side of football management, having had a short stint with Wigan in the Premiership.

He will have seen the benefits of having a major scouting network across Europe to find the next Zidane or Ronaldo (Cristiano of course).

Speaking to the Birmingham Evening Mail, Hutch told of his mountainous task of bringing new faces to Walsall next season due to lack of resources.

He told The Mail: ‘It`s difficult but it`s something you deal with and get on with. It`s how it is. You come into the job eyes wide open. If you come into it shut then you`ve only got yourself to blame.

“You just can`t go out and buy players and it`s difficult to go out and get loan players, as we found out, but the art of everything is to get the best out of what you`ve got and, if you have a full squad who are fit, everyone in the league will think they`ve got half a chance of doing well.”

His aim for next season is to propel Walsall into the top six, or at least to achieve something.

To be honest, after the last 12 months, this will not be that difficult!
