Trial for ex-Wolves winger

CH has offered a trial to ex-Wolves winger Lewis Gobern in a bid to try and bring in a new face.

The 24-year-old has failed to earn a new contract at the Premiership newboys, with his existing deal expiring today.

Gobern spent the end of last season on-loan at Colchester United, making 12 appearances.

If a deal was to be struck with Hutch, then we would be getting a exciting winger, providing Jon Whitney can keep him fully fit.

Saddlers fans may remember him playing against us while he was at Colchester, a game which we triumphed 2-0.
