VITAL PREVIEW: Colchester vs Saddlers

There is only one way to put this – it’s a tough one!

The super Saddlers travel to Colchester, a side who have won five out of six home games at home this season. Walsall just won twice on the road so far this season.

A boost before the match has come in the shape of a return to full fitness of on-loan defender Clayton McDonald. A blow has come in the form of a hamstring tear for Rene Gilmartin, but we will soldier on!

Hull’s 19-year-old keeper Mark Oxley has been drafted in to compete for the number one jersey with T&T international Clayton Ince.

For the Us, on-loan West Ham younster Josh Payne will make his debut, while midfielder Kem Izzet remains a doubt after an illness.

All in all, this could live up to being one of the hardest games of the season, with the Us lying in forth place eight points ahead of yours truly.

I predict a point at best, but a surprise 1-0 could happen if the lads perform to the max.
