Well there has almost been as much talk about Matty Fryatt and Walsall as there has been about Darren Byfield. Once again the rumour mill has started again.

Despite been on the bench for one of Leicesters games so far this season Matty’s future as a Fox seems uncertain under the new regime. Rumours have been about that he could be sold, and of course with our sell on clause that could bring a bit of a windfall. However the rumour going about in some leicester quaters is that is no one comes in for him before transfer deadline day he will begoing out on loan to put him in the shop window. Leicester are thought to favour a club where he will get regular first team football, making a league one club favorites. Matty who still lives in Lichfield despite just moving house would not reject a return to Walsall.

No matter how far fetched you might think this is, another rumour that Leicester are in the market to buy another striker from Scotland, ie Derek Riodian I believe, means that Matty will fall further down the pecking order at Leicester.
