Walsall-Coventry Link (again)

Following last seasons scouting missions to Coventry with the view of getting Andy Morrell on board. A move which provoked an official club response when the news first broke on here. things have now moved on.

At the time the club stressed he was not a player comming to Bescot in the short term, however he was a player the then current management team admired. However the news from Coventry that Andy Morrell has been released ona free contract is bound to cause renewed speculation. I would have thought his wage demands would stretch Jeff Bonsers resolve. Also would his desire for regular first team football allow him to swallow his pride and come down to the basement. He is also joined on the unwanted list by Graham Barrett.

The rumour mill continues to go round and round.
